Most of the commercial listings are right on busy Soco Road in Maggie Valley. That means a high traffic count and visibility for business owners. Maggie Valley is nestled in the Great Smoky Mountains and has high tourist numbers year round. Only 18 miles from the Cherokee Indian Reservation, Harrah’s Casino, even closer to the Blue Ridge Parkway. In the winter visitors come for skiing at Cataloochee Ski Resort. Summer has many festivals, elk viewing, hiking, white water rafting, and a variety of outdoor summer activies. This area boasts some the most beautiful golf courses in the world too. This is a great place to own or start a business.

Other than golfing or skiing in this beautiful mountain region; I have to confess I love taking the Zimmer up on the parkway to view the incredible scenery here. I have a picture on my home page of two of my favorite things: my Zimmer and the Smoky Mountains. Being a real estate agent in Haywood County, one of the highlights of my career is showing others all the treasures this area has to offer. Every day is a new discovery!
